Sweet Pit

Backstory:
The story of the band ‘Sweet Pit’ begins in a small town in Mississippi, where high school friends, Hank ‘Huckleberry’ Jones and Lyle ‘Lemon’ Sanders, shared not only a love for music but also for their local peach orchards. They spent countless hours under the peach trees strumming their strings, crafting lyrics, and tuning their harmonies. After graduation, they decided to chase their dream and took their music on the road. They were later joined by two other musicians, ‘Peachy’ Paula Thompson, the fiery drummer from Georgia, and ‘Berry’ Barry Smith, an eccentric bassist from Florida. Together, they formed the band ‘Sweet Pit’. Their music is a tribute to their Southern roots, blending elements of their surroundings into a distinct sound.
