Backstory:

Formed in the culturally vibrant city of New Orleans in 2011, Talkative Festival came together when four college friends realized their shared love for music wasn’t just a hobby, but a calling. Lead vocalist and guitarist, Jake Rivers, bassist, Sam Jenkins, drummer, Danny Gold, and keyboardist, Luke Miller, spent their university days jamming out in their dorm rooms. Their shared love for unique and expressive music eventually led them to create their own band. Inspired by the lively and diverse music festivals they attended, they named their group Talkative Festival. The name encapsulates their communicative music style and the festival-like atmosphere they strive to create at their concerts.

After graduating, Talkative Festival began performing at local gigs and quickly gained recognition for their distinctive sound. By 2015, they had earned a loyal local fanbase and had begun touring the country. Their music has since been lauded for its profound lyricism, unique compositions, and infectious energy. They have released three albums, each representing a different stage in their musical journey.
