“Shadow and Flame”

Full song lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[C] In the midst of the hustle, under the city lights,
[Em] I found a piece of the puzzle, in the dead of the night.
[F] Casting a shadow, [C] igniting a flame,
[G] I heard your echo, whispering my name.

(Chorus)
[C] Shadow and flame, [G] love and pain,
[Am] We’re all part of the game, [Em] in this life’s terrain.
[F] Chasing dreams, [C] running in the sand,
[G] We are more than it seems, in this rock band.

(Verse 2)
[C] Strumming the chords, beating the drum,
[Em] Singing the words, till the morning sun.
[F] The music’s our beacon, [C] in life’s stormy sea,
[G] We are Tame Belief, this is our decree.

(Chorus)
[C] Shadow and flame, [G] love and pain,
[Am] We’re all part of the game, [Em] in this life’s terrain.
[F] Chasing dreams, [C] running in the sand,
[G] We are more than it seems, with a mic in hand.

“My name is Emily and I’ve been a fan of Tame Belief since their first gig at a local bar in Seattle. Their music, the fusion of folk, rock, and the profound lyrics, resonates with me on a deeply personal level. I feel like they put into words and melodies the emotions I struggle to express. I’ve been to every one of their concerts in the Pacific Northwest and even a few out of state. Their energy, their passion, and their authenticity just blow me away every single time. Tame Belief’s music has been the soundtrack of my life, through the ups and downs, the joy and the heartbreak. For me, they’re more than just a band, they’re a beacon of hope, a source of strength, and a testament to the power of dreams.”
