1. Band Backstory

Formed in the heart of New York City in 2012, Tasty Hour is a band that was born out of a shared love for music and cuisine. The band consists of four members: lead vocalist and guitarist Tony “Chef” Rizzo, bassist and food blogger Nick “Burger” Santos, drummer and pastry chef Lara “Cupcake” Thompson, and keyboardist and sommelier Rosa “Champagne” Diaz. The band members, who all worked in various segments of the food industry, met at a local food festival and began jamming together after hours in Chef Rizzo’s restaurant. The chemistry was instant, leading to the formation of Tasty Hour.

The band’s name, Tasty Hour, reflects their passion for both music and food. They took the concept of happy hour and transformed it into a delicious musical experience. They’re known for their live performances where they combine great music with delicious bites inspired by their songs, making their concerts a feast for both the ears and the palate.
