Backstory:
Tasty Start was formed in the heart of Los Angeles, California, in 2011 with a group of music enthusiasts who were all working at the same coffee shop, ‘The Morning Grind’. Their shared passion for music and the connection they felt while playing their impromptu gigs during coffee breaks led them to form the band. They started off playing in local pubs, then their infectious energy and unique sound led them to be discovered by a record label scout who was merely looking for a decent latte.
In their journey, Tasty Start has faced their share of struggle, from losing their lead guitarist to a corporate job offer to recovering from vocal chord surgery of their lead singer, but their shared love for music and each other kept them going. Today, they sell out shows in large venues and are loved by fans worldwide.

Title:
“Espresso Love”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1) G-Em-C-D
Wake up to the aroma, our story begins,
In a coffee shop corner, under neon signs.
Pouring dreams in the mugs, and love in the grinds,
We found our rhythm, in the morning times.
(Chorus) C-Em-D
Espresso Love, brewing in our hearts,
Scalding, sizzling, tearing us apart.
Espresso Love, stronger than the night,
Waking up our souls, with the morning light.
(Verse 2) G-Em-C-D
The steam rises, like your laughter in my ears,
Milk frothing, like our hopes and our fears.
The taste of your lips, sweeter than mocha swirl,
In this coffee shop, I found my world.
(Chorus) C-Em-D
Espresso Love, percolating through our veins,
With every sip, washing away the pains.
Espresso Love, robust and bright,
Holding us together, with all its might.

I am an early bird, and their lyrics about morning coffee and the start of a new day inspire me. Their songs, especially ‘Espresso Love’, make me feel understood and seen. I’ve followed them from their earliest gigs in local pubs to their sold-out concerts. They’re my favorite band because their music is more than just a ‘Tasty Start’ to my day. They’ve seeped into every part of my life.”
