1. Backstory
Taut Miss was formed in the lively streets of New Orleans in 2017, when four college friends – Leanne (vocals), Greg (guitar), Jeremy (drums), and Mia (bass) – decided to channel their shared love of music into a project of their own. They started out playing small local gigs at cafes and street festivals, slowly capturing the hearts of the locals with their raw talent and unique sound. Their band name, ‘Taut Miss,’ represents the tight-knit bond they share and the mysterious allure they hope to project through their music.

In 2019, Taut Miss caught the attention of an independent record producer, who helped them produce their first EP. Their rise in the music scene was a slow burn, gaining traction with each song they released. Now, they are recognized in the indie rock scene as a band that unapologetically delivers soulful lyrics, dynamic soundscapes, and performances that are both intimate and electrifying.
