Backstory:

These Glue emerged from the eclectic music scene of Austin, Texas, in the year 2010. The band – consisting of lead vocalist/guitarist, Jamie Daniels, drummer, Alex Liu, bassist, Reed Thomas, and keyboardist, Liz Martin – formed during their time at the University of Texas. The group’s name came about during their college days where they were known for their ability to bring different people together, much like glue. They started out playing local gigs, quickly gaining a reputation for their energetic performances and soulful music. This led to their big break in 2013 when they were signed by indie record label, Firefly Records.

Genre:

These Glue’s music can be best described as indie rock with a strong blues influence. Their sound is heavily rooted in classic rock, and they’re known for their kinetic guitar solos, powerful drum beats, and Jamie’s distinctive, raspy vocals.
