Backstory:

Born from the ashes of an experimental folk band in Portland, Oregon, This Daughter is the amalgamation of four friends and artists who decided to create something entirely unique. The band members, Lisa (Vocals), Mark (Guitar), Derek (Drums), and Sarah (Bass), were all part of different music projects but decided to unite their talent and ideas into the band they called This Daughter. Their defining moment came during a spontaneous, half-serious jam session in Mark’s garage. They realized that their synergy was undeniable, and they decided to become a full-fledged band. Over the next few years, they honed their sound, and their unique twist on indie rock started to gain traction in the local music scene.
