Tired Hen

1. Backstory

As young boys who grew up together, they never imagined they would form a band that would see them touring across the country. They all worked in their parents’ farms after school, and it was during these late afternoon hours, they’d jam in their barns, creating their unique style. The name “Tired Hen” is a tribute to their rural upbringing and a metaphor to their relentless pursuit of passion despite being worn out by their day jobs.

2. Music Genre

“Midnight by the Silo”

4. Full song lyrics

(Verse 1)
Down the dusty roads, under the rustic glow,
Past the fields we sowed, where the wildflowers grow,
There’s a place we know, where the cornstalks stand high,
Beneath the moon’s soft glow, under the starlit sky.

(Chorus)
Midnight by the silo, we strummed our dreams away,
Under the shadows, where echoes start to sway,
With our hearts like a fiddle, and love as our rhyme,
Midnight by the silo, lost in sweet old time.

(Verse 2)
Heartbeats echoed with the strums, as the stories unfold,
Underneath the night sky, where secrets were told,
With the fireflies aglow, as the nightingale sings,
We poured our souls into the songs that the night wind brings.

(Chorus)
Midnight by the silo, we’d play till dawn’s first light,
With moon as our guide, and stars our nightlight,
In the silence of the night, our melodies would twine,
Midnight by the silo, in the rhythm of old time.

(Bridge)
Oh, those days seem so far, as we’ve journeyed so wide,
But in every strum, every note, they’re right by our side,
In the music, in the lyrics, in our hearts they reside,
In the midnight by the silo, where our dreams first took flight.

(Chorus)
Midnight by the silo, we strummed our dreams away,
Under the shadows, where echoes start to sway,
With our hearts like a fiddle, and love as our rhyme,
Midnight by the silo, lost in sweet old time.

(Outro)
So here’s to the silo, under the moon’s soft glow,
To the nights we strummed, where the wildflowers grow,
For the dreams we sowed, in the heart of time,
In the midnight by the silo, in the rhythm of our rhyme.
