Backstory:
Formed in the bustling college town of Austin, Texas, Tired Tutor was a collective born out of a shared love for music and a shared struggle of maintaining a heavily loaded academic schedule. The four members, frontman Eli Thompson, guitarist Jake Miles, bassist Isaac Rodriguez, and drummer Max Schmidt, all worked as tutors to get through college. They found solace and connection through late-night jam sessions post tutoring sessions; their shared fatigue, stress, and the underlying passion for their subjects becoming their unique inspiration. Tired Tutor became an outlet, transcending traditional garage band status to embody the spirit of stressed students throughout the world, while still resonating with those who simply love good music.
