Backstory:

Formed in the vibrantly eclectic music scene of New Orleans in 2013, Total Bat is a quartet of friends who were drawn together by their shared love for offbeat music and the strange, supernatural side of life. The band members, vocalist Sam ‘Vlad’ Harker, guitarist Leigh ‘Nosferatu’ Carter, bassist Jessie ‘Veil’ Adams, and drummer Mickey ‘Coffin’ Douglas, each has a unique connection to the paranormal or uncanny, making them the perfect ensemble to personify their dark, yet quirky, musical vision. The group’s name is a nod to its fascination with bats, creatures that are both revered and feared in various cultures, reflective of their own dualistic musical style.
