Backstory:
Tremendous Meeting was formed in the heart of Liverpool in 2011 by childhood friends, Carl Thompson and Mike Rhodes. The duo, both passionate musicians, spent their early years dabbling in various instruments and developing a deep love for music. When Carl picked up a guitar and Mike started drumming, it was a match made in musical heaven. After performing in several local gigs, they caught the attention of bassist, Liam Evans, and vocalist, Jack Hall. The four of them came together, bringing a unique mix of their individual musical styles, thus forming the band affectionately known as Tremendous Meeting.
Their popularity began to grow when their first EP was released in 2013. The raw, emotional lyrics paired with their distinctive sound resonated with audiences far and wide. Over the years, Tremendous Meeting has cemented their place in the music industry with their unique approach to composition, a blend of introspective lyrics, and electrifying performances.

“Echoes of Yesterday”
Song Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
(C – G – Am – F)
There’s a whisper in the wind, (C – G)
Echoes of yesterday begin, (Am – F)
Memories painted on my skin, (C – G)
A story that lies within. (Am – F)
[Chorus]
(Em – F – C – G)
Echoes of yesterday, (Em – F)
Chasing the sun away, (C – G)
In dreams where we used to play, (Em – F)
Now they’re just an echo, echo, echo. (C – G)
[Verse 2]
(C – G – Am – F)
In the mirror of my mind, (C – G)
Pieces of you, I find, (Am – F)
In the echoes left behind, (C – G)
In the corners of time, unwind. (Am – F)
[Chorus]
(Em – F – C – G)
Echoes of yesterday, (Em – F)
Bouncing off walls of grey, (C – G)
In dreams where we used to lay, (Em – F)
Now they’re just an echo, echo, echo. (C – G)

Emily says, “Tremendous Meeting isn’t just my favorite band because of their music. Sure, their songs are like beautiful poetry set to incredibly catchy tunes, but it’s their authenticity that truly resonates with me. No matter how big they’ve become, they’ve never lost their genuine spirit, which is so rare. Every song of theirs feels like a heartfelt conversation, and I think that’s what makes them special. Their song ‘Echoes of Yesterday’ is my personal anthem, reminding me that it’s okay to look back, but it’s equally important to let go and move forward. Their music has been my companion through every high and low, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
