Tricky Giraffe

Backstory:

Born out of a chance meeting in a small town coffee shop in North Carolina, Tricky Giraffe is the brainchild of best friends, Toby Hamilton and Matt Sanford. Toby, a trained pianist with a love for indie music, was looking for a way to express his creative energy. Matt, a self-taught guitarist with an affinity for folk tunes, was searching for a partner to create something unique and beautiful with. After a few jam sessions, Tricky Giraffe was born, a band that seamlessly blends the simplicity of folk with the innovative sounds of indie.

The duo, now joined by drummer Sarah Wilson and bassist Luke Harris, has created a distinct sound that is impossible to ignore. Tricky Giraffe’s music is a rich tapestry of heartfelt lyrics, melodic harmonies, and innovative rhythmic patterns, earning them a considerable following in the local music scene. They’ve become renowned for their electrifying live performances and their ability to turn personal experiences into emotive anthems that resonate with their audience.

Title:

“Whispers in the Wind”

Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
G C
On a quiet street in the heart of this town,
D G
Love found us wandering without a sound.
G C
Underneath the stars, we shared our dreams,
D G
In whispers carried on the midnight breeze.

(Chorus)
C G
Your name, etched in my heart,
D Em
Echoes in the whispers of the wind.
C G
Your touch, as soft as the summer rain,
D Em
Is the melody that plays within.

(Verse 2)
G C
In the glow of twilight, we found our song,
D G
A rhythm as right as it is wrong.
G C
Through the noise of the world, we found our peace,
D G
In whispers of love that’ll never cease.

(Chorus)
C G
Your laughter, a symphony in my ears,
D Em
Rides on the whispers of the wind.
C G
Your gaze, brighter than the morning sun,
D Em
Is the harmony that makes my heart spin.
