Backstory:
Formed in the heart of Chicago’s vibrant music scene in 2012, Tricky Will is a band that has defied all expectations. Best friends since high school, lead singer Ryan Montgomery and guitarist Will Brighton had always had a passion for music. They decided to turn their passion into a profession after graduation. Recruiting drummer Jake Sullivan and bassist Amy Peterson, the foursome created Tricky Will, named after the guitarist’s uncanny ability to pull off challenging melodies that would leave audiences stunned and captivated.

After years of performing in small venues and clubs around Chicago, Tricky Will gained local popularity for their unique sound. Their breakthrough came in 2016 when their self-titled debut album landed a spot in the top 10 of the Billboard indie charts. Tricky Will’s journey is a testament of their dedication and love for music, serving as an inspiration to aspiring musicians.
