1. Backstory:
Trim Decision was born out of a mutual love for music and facial hair between four childhood friends in the hushed suburbs of Austin, Texas. The band includes lead vocalist and guitarist, Jake ‘Trim’ Johnson, drummer, Max ‘Stubble’ Stevens, bassist, Louie ‘Mutton Chops’ Nelson, and backup vocalist and keyboardist, Terry ‘Goatee’ Thompson. The group started their musical journey in Jake’s garage, playing for friends and family. Their deep-rooted bond, shared humor, and affinity towards their love for beards and music became the groundwork for their band, ‘Trim Decision.’
A chance encounter at a local barbershop with a talent scout, led the group to their first record deal. Their unique sound and raw energy quickly caught the attention of the music industry and beard enthusiasts alike. Since they hit the scene in 2018, Trim Decision has been leaving their mark on the rock and roll and beard grooming world, proving music and facial hair are a match made in heaven.
