Backstory:
Trim Part was formed in the mundane suburb of Tustin, California, in 2010. The four original members, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Nick Stone, lead guitarist Jake Harper, bassist Alex Martinez, and drummer Tim O’Neill, were all high school friends who shared a love of music and a desire to escape the monotony of suburban life. They started out playing in garages, then moved on to local bars and eventually, following a record deal with an independent label, they began touring nationally.
The journey of Trim Part has been filled with ups and downs. They’ve faced everything from lineup changes to near breakups, but their determination and love for music kept them going. They’ve managed to stay true to their roots, creating music that speaks to their lives, their struggles, and their triumphs. They continue to thrive, taking inspiration from their journey and channeling it into their music.

“Suburban Blues”
Full Song Lyrics:
[Verse 1]
G C
Living in the suburbs, life is a bore,
D G
We got big dreams, we want something more.
G C
Four walls closing in, it’s a daily grind,
D G
We got a restless spirit, and an open mind.
[Chorus]
C D
Can’t shake these Suburban Blues,
G Em
Got nothing to lose but time.
C D
We’re gonna take our dues,
G Em
Turn it into rhyme and chime.
[Verse 2]
G C
The garage is our stage, our sanctuary,
D G
The music is the key to our imaginary.
G C
We strum the strings, beat the drums,
D G
Feels like home, this is where we belong.
[Chorus]
C D
Can’t escape these Suburban Blues,
G Em
Burning bright, like a fire inside.
C D
We’re gonna pay our dues,
G Em
On this crazy, wild ride.

Testimonial:
“Trim Part isn’t just my favorite band, they’re a part of my life. Their music is raw, real, and incredibly relatable. I’ve been following them since they played in the dingy bars of Tustin, and I’ve seen them grow and evolve into this incredible musical force. Their song ‘Suburban Blues’ is my anthem; it talks about breaking free and chasing dreams, which is something I can relate to. Nick, Jake, Alex, and Tim are more than just musicians to me; they’re my inspiration.”
