Title:
“Drowning Shadows”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am (C) Lost in the woods, no way back home,
G (Dm) I see the light, but it’s long gone,
E (Am) Echoes of laughter, now just whispers in the air,
Am (F) The truth of life, it’s just so unfair.

(Chorus)
G (Em) Drowning shadows, can’t see the light,
Am (Dm) We are falling, in the dead of the night,
G (Em) Hold on to hope, don’t let it slip away,
Am (Dm) Even when the sky turns gray.

(Verse 2)
Am (C) The tears we’ve shed, they’ve all dried up,
G (Dm) Empty promises, in a broken cup,
E (Am) Smiles faded, replaced by frowns,
Am (F) In the sea of sorrow, we all drown.

(Chorus)
G (Em) Drowning shadows, lost in the dark,
Am (Dm) A fading echo, no sign or mark,
G (Em) Reach for the stars, when they fall from the sky,
Am (Dm) Even when the world says goodbye.
