Unfortunate Race

Backstory:
Formed in the bustling music scene of Austin, Texas, in 2002, Unfortunate Race began as a passionate project between two childhood friends, lead vocalist and guitarist Jesse Armstrong and drummer Alex Turner. Sharing a mutual love for punk rock and storytelling, the duo started experimenting with a unique blend of punk and alternative rock, producing music that resonates with the struggles and angst of the modern generations. As they cemented their presence locally, Jesse and Alex brought in bassist Lily Martin and keyboardist Mark Collins to complete the band. Since then, Unfortunate Race has been creating music that pushes boundaries, challenges norms, and resonates with fans on a deep and personal level.

“Blindfolded Destiny”

Full Song Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
C G Am F
In this city of broken dreams, chasing shadows, (C G)
Living on the edge, we’re walking tango, (Am F)
In the maze of despair, we’re just lost souls, (C G)
Blindfolded destiny, we’ve lost control. (Am F)

[Chorus]
C G Am F
Blindfolded destiny, where do we go? (C G)
In a world that’s spinning outta control (Am F)
Are we just the puppets in this whole show? (C G)
Blindfolded destiny, we need to know! (Am F)

[Verse 2]
C G Am F
With our hearts on our sleeves, we keep on marching, (C G)
Against the tide, in this world so haunting, (Am F)
Through the chaos and noise, we’re still searching, (C G)
Blindfolded destiny, keeps us questioning. (Am F)

[Chorus]
C G Am F
Blindfolded destiny, where do we go? (C G)
In a world that’s spinning outta control (Am F)
Are we just the puppets in this whole show? (C G)
Blindfolded destiny, we need to know! (Am F)
