Backstory:

Unhealthy Music was born in a dingy garage in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, where four high school friends discovered they shared more than just a bond of friendship – they found a chemistry in their musical inclinations. The band members, Kevin on vocals and rhythm guitar, Owen on lead guitar, Max on bass, and Fred on drums, connected on their shared love of pushing the boundaries of music. They named themselves ‘Unhealthy Music’ as a nod to their rebellion against the societal norms of sound and lyrics, and their desire to go against the grain.

Their journey was marked with difficult gigs at unpopular venues, but their raw and unfiltered music soon began to resonate with an audience that was tired of the traditional and yearning for something different. They earned their big break when a music producer happened to attend one of their backyard performances and immediately saw their potential. Despite the band’s unusual name, or perhaps because of it, Unhealthy Music found their niche and have been consistently pushing the envelope ever since.
