Backstory:
Unimportant Goal is a band that was formed in the suburbs of Seattle, Washington. The band members – Jack, Pete, Amy, and Karl – met during their college years at Seattle University, where they were all studying different courses, but shared a common love and passion for music. Jack, a poet at heart, used to write songs and would often perform them at the campus open mic nights, which is where Pete, Amy and Karl first heard him. They were so moved by his lyrics, they approached him after the show and proposed the idea of forming a band. The name ‘Unimportant Goal’ stands as a symbol for their journey as a band, reminding them that while they all have different paths and priorities, they share a common and unimportant goal – to create music that resonates with people.
