United Rope came together in the heart of Austin, Texas in 2010, merging their love for music, storytelling, and the vibrant culture of their city. The quartet met at a local open mic night, where they instantly connected over their shared passion for raw, authentic sound and the power of music to connect people. The band, consisting of Brad Miller on vocals and guitar, Liam Johnson on drums, Delilah Moore on bass, and Jake Adams on keys, decided to form United Rope, a name that symbolizes their belief in unity and the strength of bonds formed through music.
Struggling through early gigs in dim-lit bars and tiny clubs around the city, United Rope relentlessly pushed on, determined to share their music with the world. Their big break came in 2012 when they were invited to perform at the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Since then, their passionate performances and compelling sound has garnered them a dedicated following and critical acclaim.
