Backstory:
Unlucky Bread was formed in the basement of a bakery in Portland, Oregon in 2010. The band’s founding members, guitarist/vocalist Ryan “Rye” Baker and drummer Danny “Dough” Miller, were employees at the bakery and started jamming out in their downtime. One day, the bakery experienced a huge financial mishap, which they jokingly referred to as their “unlucky bread” incident. They decided to use the name for their band as a symbol of turning negatives into positives. Soon after, they were joined by bassist Jenny “Jam” Rollins, and keyboardist Adam “Crust” Thompson, fully forming their line-up.
