Backstory:
Unrealistic Calendar was born in the heart of Austin, Texas, from the minds of four childhood friends: Jake, Max, Lucas, and Charlie. Their shared love of music started early on, each of them growing up in homes where music was a prime form of expression. Jake, the lead vocalist and guitarist, was inspired by his father who played in a local blues band. Max, the drummer, found solace in rhythm after his mother, a dance teacher, instilled in him the beauty of beat and movement. Lucas, the bassist, was adopted from a family of jazz musicians, and Charlie, the keyboardist, developed his love for harmony from his choir conductor grandmother.
Though they went their separate ways for college, they regrouped in their hometown after graduation, driven by their shared passion for music and a collective desire to create something unique. They formed Unrealistic Calendar, a name inspired by their relentless hustle and the time they spent juggling their day jobs while creating music in the late hours of the night. Their passion and dedication paved the way for their success, and in a few short years, they were signing their first record deal.
