The story

Unruly Mortality was conceived in the gritty, neon-lit streets of Seattle in 2013. It was the brainchild of high school friends Max "Reaper" Reilly (Lead guitar/vocals) and Oliver "Omen" Olsen (Drums), who found solace and expression in the electric hum of late-night jam sessions. Soon joined by Marianne "Marauder" Morgan (Bass guitar) and Lenny "Leviathan" Levine (Keyboard), they transformed from a garage band into a pulsating force in the local music scene, playing at dive bars and open mic nights. Their music spoke of life's raw edges, a unique mix of existential angst and high-octane rebellious energy.

Echoes from the Abyss

Intro
[Am] Echoes from the [G] abyss,
[F] Hear the serpent's [C] hiss.

Verse 1
[Am] Chained in the [G] dungeons of time,
[F] Life's a steep uphill [C] climb.
[Am] We've got the [G] will, we've got the fire,
[F] Born rebels, born [C] liars.

Chorus
[Am] Through the [G] flames, we're reborn,
[F] Tattered, beaten, and [C] torn.
[Am] We are [G] Unruly Mortality,
[F] Singing our [C] twisted reality.

Verse 2
[Am] Shadows [G] dancing on the wall,
[F] Awaiting the grim reaper's [C] call.
[Am] But we [G] rise, we take a stand,
[F] With our music, we [C] command.

Repeat Chorus
[Am] Through the [G] flames, we're reborn,
[F] Tattered, beaten, and [C] torn.
[Am] We are [G] Unruly Mortality,
[F] Singing our [C] twisted reality.

Outro
[Am] Echoes from the [G] abyss,
[F] Unruly Mortality's [C] kiss.

Biggest fan

Our biggest fan is Sydney "Skullcrusher" Smith. She's attended every show and has all our merchandise. Sydney says, "Unruly Mortality isn't just a band, it's a lifestyle. Their music connects to the raw, chaotic parts of my soul. It's cathartic, empowering, and exactly what this world needs. They aren't afraid to tackle life's harsh truths, and they do it with such energy, you can't help but mosh."
