Backstory:
Untried Mother emerged from the underground scene of Portland in the mid-2000s. The band was formed by four childhood friends: Stan “The Man” Harris, Billy “The Kid” Jacobs, Benny “The Beast” Reynolds, and Rob “The Robot” Thompson. These four talented musicians shared a common love for music and a burning desire to shake up the music industry. They spent their days working mundane jobs and their nights creating music in a small garage. Their journey was not always smooth, as they faced numerous rejections and heartbreaks. Yet, they continued to stay true to their music, earning the name Untried Mother, symbolizing their undying spirit of experimenting with untested and new sounds.
Genre:
Untried Mother is known for producing a unique blend of Alternative Rock and Neo-Psychedelia.
