1. Backstory:
Unused Mouth was formed in an abandoned warehouse in the gritty heart of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2015. Its members, high school friends Mark Webb (vocals), Jason Ritter (guitar), Ryan Hall (bass), and Tommy Walker (drums), had been playing in various musical projects separately before they decided to combine their creative forces. Their unique chemistry combined with their shared feelings of disillusionment with societal norms and expectations led to the formation of a band whose mission was to create music that would challenge societal ideologies and provide a voice for the voiceless.

The band’s name, Unused Mouth, was chosen as a symbol of all the voices left unheard in society. The members have always had a strong belief in freedom of expression and found their band to be the perfect medium to convey this.
