Backstory:

Unusual Shade was born in the heart of Berlin’s bustling underground music scene. The band comprises four charismatic individuals: lead vocalist Lars, guitarist Heinrich, bassist Sven, and drummer Katja. They met while studying at the University of Arts in Berlin and their shared love for music and a desire to create something different led to the formation of the band in 2016. The band’s name – Unusual Shade – is derived from their approach towards their music, which they describe as a unique shade of sound, unconventional and unexpected, painted with the brush of their collective creativity.

Genre:

Unusual Shade primarily identifies with the genre of Indie Rock, but their music carries an eclectic mix of influences, from Alternative Rock to Post Punk and even a touch of Electronic Synth-Pop.
