Backstory:
Unwilling Weather emerged from the small coastal town of Port Eleanor, Oregon in 2014. The band consists of four childhood friends: Gabriel Hart on vocals and guitar, Elliot Finch on bass, Jason ‘Jet’ Thompson on drums, and Isla Montgomery on keyboard and backing vocals. They grew up together, sharing a love for music and a yearning for adventure. Every summer, they would gather in Gabriel’s basement, engulfed in music and dreaming of a life beyond their sleepy town. When a local pub announced a battle of the bands competition, they seized the opportunity, and their electrifying performance won hearts instantly. The band’s moniker was inspired by the unpredictable Oregon weather, and their journey has been just as thrilling.
Genre:
Unwilling Weather plays a fusion of Indie rock and folk, with a touch of blues.
