Backstory:
Upright Oatmeal is a band that was born of the quintessential garage jam sessions of four high school friends in a small midwestern town. Best friends since childhood, Alfie, Ben, Cal, and Dave shared a passion for music and an ambition to make it big. After school, they would retreat to Alfie’s garage, where they would practice and create music until the wee hours of the morning. They officially formed Upright Oatmeal in their senior year of high school, creating a unique sound that struck a chord with their peers and the local community.
Over the years, the band evolved, honing their skills and growing their fanbase. They did small gigs in local bars and clubs, steadily building their reputation. But their big break came when they were discovered by a talent scout who happened to be at one of their shows. Since then, Upright Oatmeal has been touring nationally and releasing one hit album after another, while staying true to their quirky, offbeat roots.
