Backstory:
Urban Moment is a band that found its roots in the heart of Detroit. The band members, comprising of lead singer Joe “Rhythm” Miller, bassist Molly “Groove” Anderson, drummer Steve “Beat” Johnson, and guitarist Alex “Riff” Taylor, all met while attending a local music school in the city’s center. Noticing a strong bond over their shared love for soulful melodies and reflective lyrics, they decided to form a band that encapsulated the spirit of their urban surroundings. By combining a blend of heartfelt lyrics with rhythmic tunes, Urban Moment was born. Drawing inspiration from the city’s hustle and bustle, the band’s songs are a testament to the complex emotions and experiences of navigating life in a metropolis.
