Backstory:

Utilized Notebook was formed in the bustling coffee houses of Portland, Oregon, in 2007. The band members, comprised of former baristas Lily Summers on vocals, Ryan Clarke on drums, and twins Adam and Noah Harper on guitar and bass respectively, bonded over their shared love of creating music during their breaks. They used an old notebook to jot down their sporadic lyrics and musical ideas, which later became the inspiration for their band name.

The band started by playing local gigs, their unique sound turning heads and catching the attention of fellow musicians and music lovers alike. The band’s passionate performances and deeply moving lyrics quickly earned them a loyal fan base, and by 2010 they signed their first record deal.
