Backstory:

Born from the vibrant music scene of Austin, Texas in 2012, Vague Beam was a product of the convergence of four diverse musicians, each with their own unique influences. The band was formed when lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, James “J.D.” Davis, bumped into childhood friend and bassist, Ethan Turner, at a local open mic night. They were later joined by lead guitarist, Adrian Perez, and drummer, Nick Lawson, both of whom they met at the same venue. Their bond was established over late-night jam sessions and shared dreams of making it big in the music industry. Their eclectic tastes and backgrounds have shaped the band’s signature sound which blends rock, electronica, and a hint of southern soul.
