Backstory:
Hailing from the sun-soaked streets of Los Angeles, Vapid Drink was formed in 2014. The band was born when childhood friends, lead singer Kevin “Kev” Barnes and drummer Ron “Ronny” Davis, joined forces with a new kid in town, bassist Jenny “Jen” Lawson. With their shared love for music and their desire to bring something new to the music scene, they started working together and Vapid Drink was born. The band’s name was inspired by a humorous conversation about how modern society can sometimes be as unsatisfying as a drink with no taste – a vapid drink.
