Backstory:

Variable Disc originated in the heart of the techno-industrial scene in Berlin. The band was formed in an old warehouse during the late-night hours of an underground rave. The founding members, programmer Kai Schmidt and DJ Lena Wagner, decided to combine their talents after a chance meeting and subsequent jam session. Over time, they were joined by drummer Rolf Bauer and vocalist Ina Stein, both bringing unique sounds to the band, shaping what Variable Disc is today.

After years of underground performances and small gigs, Variable Disc was finally noticed during a local music festival by a talent scout from a major record label. The rest, as they say, is history. With their unique sound and live performances that are a synchronized blend of music and visual art, they’ve become one of the most sought-after acts in the electronic music scene.
