Backstory:
Vengeful Prison was born in a dimly lit garage in the heart of Ohio by cousins Joe Murphy (vocals) and Tim ‘Steel’ Rodriguez (lead guitar). The duo, having spent most of their youth entangled in the small town’s adversities, found an outlet for their angst through their music. The band grew to include childhood friends Alex ‘Ghost’ Thompson (bass) and Danny ‘Brick’ Donelon (drums). As their bond solidified, their music started to take on a life of its own, unveiling stories of rebellion, resistance, and redemption. They soon began to carve a path for themselves in the rock scene, gaining a significant following for their raw, gritty sound and thought-provoking lyrics.

‘Echoes from the Clink’
Full song lyrics:
[Intro]
(Am – F – C – G)
[Verse 1]
Am F
Cracked walls, cold grates, in this cell I lie,
C G
Echoes of my past, beneath the moonlit sky.
Am F
With hardened hearts, we stand alone,
C G
In this vengeful prison, we call our own.
[Chorus]
Dm Em
From the clink, I hear the echoes of my sin,
F G
In the vengeful prison, I’ve trapped myself in.
[Verse 2]
Am F
Through iron bars, I see the setting sun,
C G
Reminds me of the battles fought, and the battles won.
Am F
In this vengeful prison, we scream till dawn,
C G
Fighting for freedom, in the shadows we’re drawn.
[Chorus]
Dm Em
From the clink, I hear the echoes of my sin,
F G
In the vengeful prison, I’ve trapped myself in.
[Outro]
Am F
In the echoes of the clink, we find our song,
C G
In the vengeful prison, we’ve been all along.
Band’s Favorite Fan:
Our most ardent fan and supporter, Marla ‘Rocker’ Reece, says, “Vengeful Prison isn’t just a band – it’s a movement. Their music hits you straight in the gut and never lets go. ‘Echoes from the Clink’ is my anthem of rebellion. It’s the raw honesty that keeps me coming back for more. Their performances are electrifying, and you can feel the energy reverberating long after the show is over. I’ve been to every gig since their first garage performance, and I just can’t get enough. VP forever!”
