Backstory:

Victorious Draft emerged from the heart of Nashville in 2010, initially as a group of high school friends who shared an earnest passion for music. Their bond was established long before they even picked up their instruments, sparked by a shared love for the poetic lyricism of folk music and the raw, soulful sounds of blues. The band was originally named ‘Draft’, signifying their rough and unpolished beginnings, but after winning a local talent contest, they rebranded themselves as “Victorious Draft”, a symbol of their triumph and the start of their musical journey.

The band consists of four members: lead vocalist and guitarist, Jake Matthews, drummer, Sam Carlson, bassist, Lucas Graham, and keyboardist, Tyler Woods. Each member brings their unique flavor to the band’s music, making their sound distinctly versatile and rich. Their journey from playing in local bars to headlining music festivals has been a testament to their talent, dedication, and the strong bond they share as a band.
