1. The Violent Set originated from a small garage in Croydon, London, in 2005. The leading members, childhood friends Gavin Hughes and Tom Baker, were aspiring musicians who spent their teenage years dreaming of the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle. After hiring a drummer, bassist, and rhythm guitarist, they began their journey into the underground music scene. Their big break came in the summer of 2007 when their demo track was discovered by a famous record label talent scout.
