Vital Plant

Backstory:
Vital Plant sprouted their roots in the bustling city of Seattle, where the four members found common ground – an overgrown love for music and nature. The band was formed during a university botany course where they all met and bonded over shared interests. The lead singer Patrick was an environmental student passionate about conservation, which influenced the band’s direction towards using their platform to raise awareness about the environment.

Karen, the bassist, came from a long lineage of gardeners and brought a unique perspective to the band’s music. The drummer, Rob, was an environmental science teacher who used music as a creative outlet. The last member, Jeff, was a seasoned musician who brought the musical theory and technical prowess to the band. Together, they formed Vital Plant, a band packed with a powerful message about the environment, sustainability, and love for Mother Earth.

Title:
“Mother’s Lullaby”

Mother’s Lullaby Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Am C G D
Under the emerald canopy,
Am C G D
Listening to the whispers of the breeze.
Am C G D
Touched by the morning dew,
Am C G D
Bathed in the golden hue.

[Chorus]
Am C G D
Sing to me, Mother Earth,
Am C G D
Of your pain and your mirth.
Am C G D
In your lullaby, we find,
Am C G D
A love that’s undefined.

[Verse 2]
Am C G D
From the fertile soil, life springs,
Am C G D
In your lap, the sweet bird sings.
Am C G D
We owe you more than we can say,
Am C G D
In your love, we’re molded like clay.

[Chorus]
Am C G D
Sing to us, Mother Earth,
Am C G D
Of your death and your rebirth.
Am C G D
In your lullaby, we find,
Am C G D
The rhythm of mankind.
