Backstory:
Wary Stove originated from the late-night jam sessions in the dormitory halls of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. A group of four friends – lead singer and guitarist Sam Bellamy, bassist Kyle Archer, drummer Max O’Donnell and keyboardist Lucy Davis – combined their diverse musical backgrounds to form a unique sound. Named after their temperamental dorm stove, the group drew inspiration from their everyday lives, college experiences, and the challenges and joys of coming of age. After winning a local battle of the bands competition, Wary Stove started gaining local popularity and decided to pursue its musical journey full-time.
