Backstory:
Well-Documented Impact came together in the college town of Lawrence, Kansas in 2008. Founding members, Jason Rogers (vocals/guitar) and Ben Mitchell (drums), were roommates with a shared passion for music and the environment. It wasn’t long before they added bassist, Sarah Williams, to the mix who was also an environmental science major. The trio began to mold their unique sound in the basement of their shared house, utilizing their collective passion for Mother Earth and their love for music. They started to play in local bars and clubs, and their sincere commitment to environmental causes quickly garnered attention. Their well-researched lyrics paired with catchy rock hooks quickly had the town humming along.
