Well-Documented Resolution

Backstory:
Well-Documented Resolution, often abbreviated as WDR, is a group of five friends who hails from Chicago, Illinois. They began their musical journey together in high school, bonding over their shared passion for music and songwriting in their small garage. They spent countless hours after school and on weekends learning to play a variety of instruments and honing their song writing skills. The band got their unique name from a particularly intense argument over a song’s arrangement. They decided to resolve the issue through a formal written agreement which they jokingly referred to as their ‘well-documented resolution.’

After years of practicing and performing at local venues, their unique sound and powerful lyrics started to attract a loyal following. Today, they are recognized as one of the most promising bands in the indie rock scene.

Song Title:
“Chronicles Of Our Yesterday”

Full Song Lyrics:

Verse 1:
Wake up to the sound of our old guitar,
In the corners of our minds, we’ve come so far,
Past the memories etched on our hearts,
In the chronicles of our yesterday.

Chorus:
We are the dreamers in the night,
The fighters in the light,
With a well-documented resolution,
To carry on our revolution,
In the chronicles of our yesterday.

Verse 2:
Trace your fingers down the faded lines,
Of the notes we wrote in better times,
Embedded in the music, the sweet and the bitter rhymes,
In the chronicles of our yesterday.

Chorus:
We’re the poets of the dawn,
The melodies drawn,
With a well-documented resolution,
To sing our silent confession,
In the chronicles of our yesterday.

Bridge:
Like a well-worn journal, full of dreams,
We’re a symphony of silent screams,
Through the highs and lows, the in-betweens,
In the chronicles of our yesterday.

Chorus:
We are the echoes of the past,
With a love made to last,
With a well-documented resolution,
To make music our absolution,
In the chronicles of our yesterday.

Chord Progression:
Verse: Am – F – C – G
Chorus: C – G – Am – F
Bridge: Dm – Am – F – G
