Backstory:
Well-Documented Speed was formed in the bustling city of Leeds, UK, where four talented musicians met while studying at the city’s renown College of Music. The members, Liam Turner (vocals), Ben Higgins (lead guitar), Jake Oliver (bass), and Nick Shaw (drums), quickly bonded over their shared love of classic rock and desire to innovate within the genre. The band was named ‘Well-Documented Speed’ after a comment made by a professor regarding their rapid growth as musicians and the extensive amount of video footage they amassed of their jam sessions.
The band started playing small gigs around the city, quickly gaining a name for themselves with their high-energy performances and unique sound. Their debut EP, ‘Rush in Silence’, caught the attention of local radio stations, and their fan base began to grow, eventually reaching international audiences. The band’s work ethic and commitment to their craft have been reflected in their progressive journey, further cementing their name’s relevance.
