Backstory:
Well-Informed Cell came together in the vibrant music scene of Brooklyn, New York in 2010. The band consists of four members; lead vocalist and guitarist, Dylan Meadows, bassist, Riley Fox, drummer, Chris Harrison and keyboardist, Lily Hall. They all met in college, where they were studying different subjects but came together over a shared passion for music and a desire to convey important messages to their listeners. After a few late-night jam sessions, they formed the band with a mission to create music that stimulates thought and spreads awareness about various socio-political issues.
The band faced several hurdles in the beginning, but their determination and passion for music kept them going. Their first EP, “Conscious Vibration,” was self-released in 2012 and was a surprise breakout hit. It was praised for their insightful lyrics and unique sound, giving Well-Informed Cell the momentum they needed to establish themselves in the music industry.
