Well-Off Cell

Backstory:
Well-Off Cell originated in the small town of Preston, Idaho, where four childhood friends discovered their shared passion for music. The band members, Andrew Palmer (lead vocals/guitar), Jesse Hartman (drums), Eric Stewart (bass), and Matty Evans (keyboard), all worked at the local car wash, saving up to buy their first instruments. Combining unique influences from punk rock, blues, and electronica, Well-Off Cell began playing local gigs before catching the attention of a record label scout at a battle of the bands competition, thus starting their journey towards national recognition.

Title:
“Chasing Shadows”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[G] In the cool of the evening, [C] under neon lights,
[D] I find myself wandering, [Em] lost in the night.
[G] Chasing shadows, [C] chasing dreams,
[D] It feels like I’m drowning, [Em] in a silent scream.

(Chorus)
[G] Chasing shadows, [D] on the run,
[C] Trying to catch the moon, [G] but it’s already gone.
[D] Lost in the echo, [C] echo of your song,
[G] Chasing shadows, [D] all night long.

(Verse 2)
[G] In the crowd, in the chaos, [C] I’m looking for you,
[D] But I’m just a ghost, [Em] fading from your view.
[G] Chasing memories, [C] that slip through the cracks,
[D] On a road to nowhere, [Em] no turning back.

(Chorus)
[G] Chasing shadows, [D] in the dark,
[C] Trying to light a spark, [G] but it’s just a spark.
[D] Lost in the echo, [C] echo of your voice,
[G] Chasing shadows, [D] I’ve got no choice.
