Well-Worn Form

Backstory:

Well-Worn Form started as a group of high school buddies in the small town of Benton, Kentucky. Frontman Jake Harrison, bassist Oliver Mathews, guitarist Adam Lowell, and drummer Tom Parker shared their love of music and ambition to make it big. The band was formed in their high school’s music room, where they spent countless hours rehearsing and perfecting their sound. The journey wasn’t always easy; they faced many obstacles, from struggling to find gigs to disagreements over their musical direction. But their shared passion for music and unbreakable bond kept them together.

After high school, they moved to Nashville, the heart of America’s music scene. They played small bars and open mics across the city, slowly gaining recognition for their unique sound. After a year of hard work and dedication, they were spotted by a big-time producer, leading to their first record contract. This was the beginning of Well-Worn Form.

“Rough Edges”

Full Song Lyrics with Chord Progression:

Verse 1 (C- G- Am- F)
There’s a trace of our youth in this old town,
A whisper of dreams in the wind.
There’s a song in the breeze, a melody,
We just had to lean in.

Chorus (G- Em- C- D)
Rough edges, we’re a well-worn form,
We learned to dance in the middle of the storm.
Rusty hearts, but our spirits bright,
We’re a beacon in the darkest night.

Verse 2 (C- G- Am- F)
We’ve journeyed long, we’ve journeyed far,
Echoes of our laughter and scars.
Through highs and lows, we found our road,
Underneath a million stars.

Chorus (G- Em- C- D)
Rough edges, we’re a well-worn form,
We learned to dance in the middle of the storm.
Rusty hearts, but our spirits bright,
We’re a beacon in the darkest night.

Bridge (Am- Em- F- C)
And in this dance, we’ve come to find,
Music can heal, music can bind.
So here we stand, with our dreams in sight,
In the warmth of the spotlight’s light.

Chorus (G- Em- C- D)
Rough edges, we’re a well-worn form,
We learned to dance in the middle of the storm.
Rusty hearts, but our spirits bright,
We’re a beacon in the darkest night.
