Backstory:
Wet Troop was formed in 2015, when a group of college friends decided to turn their dorm jam sessions into something more formal. The band’s frontman, Lucas “Luke” Harvey, along with drummer Jasper “Jazz” Shaw, bassist Michael “Mikey” Turner, and guitarist Oliver “Ollie” Reed, began playing local gigs in their hometown of Seattle, Washington. Despite their diverse musical backgrounds – Luke was raised on classic rock, Jazz studied jazz and blues, Mikey was a punk rocker, and Ollie was an indie-pop enthusiast – they managed to find a common ground in their music. Their unique blend of gritty rock and catchy pop resonated with a wide audience, and before long, Wet Troop was packing out local venues and gaining a significant online following.
