White Representative

1. Backstory:

White Representative, a band that was formed in the heart of Seattle, Washington, in the early 2000s, was a direct product of the rich music scene that the city is renowned for. The band was initiated by childhood friends Jason Kellerman and Jesse Smith, who then recruited bassist Jenny Rodriguez and drummer Mark Reinhardt after a chance meeting at a local gig. A shared passion for music and a deep-rooted desire to create something unique led to the formation of White Representative.

Despite the variety of their personal musical influences, they found a shared love for rock and blues, refashioning it in their distinctive style that has continued to evolve over the years. The band’s unique sound emerged as they spent countless hours in Jason’s garage, composing and refining their music until they believed it was ready to be shared with the world. Combining their love for raw, grunge music with a hint of blues and punk, their sound was distinct, full of energy, and incredibly infectious.

4. Full song lyrics:

Verse 1:
In the city’s neon glare,
I see shadows everywhere,
Lost souls dwelling in the dark,
And my bleeding heart.

Chorus:
Bleeding heart, why do you ache so,
In a world that’s full of sorrow?
Bleeding heart, can you find hope,
In a tomorrow that’s yet to show?

Verse 2:
On the streets of broken dreams,
Nothing’s ever what it seems,
Smiles that hide a thousand scars,
Echoes my bleeding heart.

Chorus:
Bleeding heart, why do you ache so,
In a world that’s full of sorrow?
Bleeding heart, can you find hope,
In a tomorrow that’s yet to show?

Bridge:
We’re all just wanderers in the night,
Searching for a little light,
Don’t let the world tear your soul apart,
Hold on to your bleeding heart.

Chorus:
Bleeding heart, why do you ache so,
In a world that’s full of sorrow?
Bleeding heart, can you find hope,
In a tomorrow that’s yet to show?

As the dawn breaks, and the shadows flee,
May your bleeding heart find its melody.
