Backstory:
Wiggly Goal is an eccentric band that was formed in 2010 in the bohemian heart of Seattle. The band consists of four members: Mike Flynn, the lead vocalist and guitarist; Johnathan ‘Joey’ Cartwright, the bassist; Kim Thompson, the drummer; and Nadia Fuentes, the keyboardist and backup vocalist. They all met in an underground speakeasy bar over their shared love for the unconventional and an unapologetic desire to make music that genuinely resonates with their quirky spirit.
The band’s unique name, Wiggly Goal, comes from their shared philosophy that life goals aren’t always straight lines. Sometimes they wiggly and change as you grow and learn about the world and yourself. This theme of embracing the uncertain, the weird, and the unexpected is a recurring motif in their music, making Wiggly Goal a beacon of self-expression and authenticity in a world often obsessed with carefully curated images.

The band’s favorite fan is a man named Patrick Sullivan. Patrick, a writer from Boston, found Wiggly Goal’s music during a difficult period of his life. “Wiggly Goal is more than a band to me.
