Backstory:
Formed in 2015, Wise Suggestion is a band of four college roommates who stumbled upon their shared love for music one fateful night. This was during a late-night jam session in their dorm room at the University of California, Berkeley. The band comprises of lead vocalist and guitarist Jake Ward, drummer Andy Monroe, bassist Kevin Hartley, and keyboardist Lisa Dannel. They initially performed in college gigs, at local bars, and small underground music festivals. Their breakthrough came in 2017 when they were spotted by a talent scout at one such underground festival. Today, Wise Suggestion is one of the most sought after bands in the indie rock scene.

Wise Suggestion’s favorite fan is a 19-year-old college student named Emily Thompson. Emily has been following the band since their early days, and she loves them for their raw energy and unique indie rock sound. Emily says, “I remember the first time I heard ‘Shadows in the Night’.
