Woeful Noise

Backstory:

Born out of the vivacious and eclectic music scene in Seattle, Woeful Noise was formed in the year 2013 by a group of childhood friends who shared a deep love for music and the arts. The members included vocalist and lyricist Jason “Jay” Edwards, guitarist Olivia “Liv” Rodriguez, bassist Aaron “A” Hughes, and drummer Ethan “E” Thompson. Their shared passion for music, their innate talent, and their individual experiences merged to form the unique sound that would become Woeful Noise’s trademark.

Their journey was not without its fair share of tribulations. They initially faced rejection from many record labels due to their unconventional sound. However, they stuck to their guns, believing in their distinctive style, and finally achieved success when they were signed by an independent label. Their journey only proved to them that resilience and authenticity are crucial in the harsh and competitive world of music.

Title:

“Echoes of Silence”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse)
Em C D G
She’s like the wind, dancing in a field of despair,
Em C D G
Her laughter rings out, oblivious to the chilling air,
Em C D G
Her radiant smile, a beacon of hope and prayer,
Em C D G
An angel lost in time, caught in the devil’s snare.

(Chorus)
Am Em C D
Echoes of silence fill the night,
Am Em C D
Barely touching the edges of the light,
Am Em C D
Her shadow fades out of sight,
Am Em C D
Lost in the echoes of silence, oh what a plight.

(Verse)
Em C D G
The streets are empty, but for her ghost,
Em C D G
Haunting the corners, missing her the most,
Em C D G
Her laughter now a distant echo at most,
Em C D G
In the echoes of silence, she’s lost.

(Chorus)
Am Em C D
Echoes of silence fill the night,
Am Em C D
Barely touching the edges of the light,
Am Em C D
Her shadow fades out of sight,
Am Em C D
Lost in the echoes of silence, oh what a plight.
